On the 24th of June 2019, history was made!
Maarten van der Weijden, the 2008 Olympic gold medalist, swam 74 hours straight in order to finish the famous Dutch Eleven Cities Tour. He swam 195 km in order to raise money for cancer research, to which he was able to raise 5,1 mln. euro so far!
Together with Natwerk and Falsum we contributed to Maarten’s campaign. For free, of course. We are very thankful that we could contribute and help Maarten raise this amazing amount of money.
In order to create the campaign, the whole crew had to get wet. Armed with bin liners, gaffer tape, and buckets of water we shot these awesome images. It feels really great when everyone goes all in for such a great cause. The fun we had on set was very inspiring and made the result that much better.
A special thanks to Budgetcam for all the gear and Studio 13 who let us use theire great location.
And of course a big thank you to Churandy Martina, Mark Tuitert, Inge de Bruijn en Patrick Martens!
Check out the final result and the behind the scenes. Enjoy!
